type r ecu

I have a 00 si with a built motor, but i want to use a itr ecu but ive notice that the plugs are different, what can i do to use this ecu?

well since you have a built motor i wouldn't suggest using a OEM ecu...such as your B16- P2T
or the ITR - P73. the plugs are probly different because your car is OBD2-b and the ECU is OBD2-a.

i would suggest converting to OBD1 and using Engine management such as Hondata or Crome for maximum tunabilty.

yea i would go with what he said man!

but if you must go with the ITR ecu..you will need to get the OBD2b - OBD2a conversion harness. its fairly cheap
