the top rigth valve cover bolt broke how can i get it out plz... how much will a new 1 cost?

drill it and use an easy out.

get a new bolt from honda.

extract it. go to sears and buy the kit. it will come in handy again. watch your self mr. hulk. read torque specs before you do s**t.

better yet hit a junk yard to grab the bolt and some spares. the dealer will charge you out the ass on those bolts.

everyone does this. They think it should be snug.. but they break anything above 3 foot lbs. lol. New from the dlr they're like 7 bux cad. I dunno about U/S funds.

Just get you a small LEFT HAND drill bit. Smaller then the bolt diameter.........put your drill in reverse and slowly drill it. A left hand drill bit acts as an easy out. And make sure your drill is in REVERSE or all you will do is burn up the tip of the bit. After the bit gets in the bolt it should start backing itself out. I have broke 2 VC bolts and both times thats what i had to do

The torque spec on those head bolts are 7ft/lb not 3.....
