The plug hole gromets were a pain but not as bad as the stem gromets, any one have any pointers for next time?

1) Cut off the old bolt grommets.

2) Rubber hardens and becomes much less malleable in the cold, so move to a warm place in your house to do the next steps. Spray the new rubber grommets and bolts with silicone lubricant. With the rubber grommets lubricated and warmed by your hands, you should be able to more easily work each grommet past the bulge in the bolt.

3) When done, wash each bolt/grommet with soap and water to remove the silicone lubricant, which could weaken the grommet with time.

Lol, I did my valve cover grommets, tube seals, and gasket in under 20 minutes with cleaning and reassembly.
