what does the vapor canister do? I am running an error code and some say it has something to do with the vapor canister or what not....so uhhh wtf does the vapor can do?

I think it's part of the evap system. Might have a contaminent in it. Is a charcoal canister the same thing as a vapor canister?
yeah it is. its located under the car near the gas tank. it has activated charcoal that holds extra fuel vapors until they can be returned to the engine and burned. it can get ruined if you top off after the gas nozzle clicks off. theres also an evap air filter down there too. i just changed it recently, $20 from dealer and just has one bolt holding it.
