Quick run-down:
B16B
93 SI

Pulled codes
17 - VSS
22 - VTEC Oil Pressure Switch

17 = resolved, loose clip on the VSS

22= replaced pressure switch, still CEL 22

Tested solenoid with 12v source and it engages

Question: Can a dirty screen on the solenoid body cause a CEL 22? and what is the potential the solenoid will not seal correctly once removed/cleaned/reinstalled?

Just trying to run it down before I start tracing wires back to the ECU,

Absolutely. Clean it. Also make sure the engine oil is not low.

After cleaning the screen, reassemble the solenoid with a thin layer of HondaBond spread over the gasket.
