vtec stopped working

I know people like to scream search but I have and can't find anything that would help me. I have a d16z6. I replaced the head gasket awhile ago and it quit workin. So I tried to puttin new rockerarms on a good solenoid with clean filter and did an oil change. Still nothing. There are no cel codes. And I know that its not working cuz it was noticable when vtec kicked in yo lol. So any suggestions would be great guys thanks

Go to autozone and pick up some vtec fluid. probably running low on it.

oh reallycool didnt know thats all it needed. Thanks for the help jackass

and yes the cel works

Did you try all of the spool tests in the diagram?

Have you tested the oil switch?

Have you tested the switch and spool wires?

If all the above are fine, then try swapping in a known good ECU.

Yea I checked the resistance of the solenoid but not the spool movement. I will tomorrow but how do u test the oil switch?
