What's better swapping the d15b2 for a d16z6 or doin the mini me swap

My buddie has a d16z6 I'm thinking about buying it off him but the question I have is should I swap my d15 for his d16 or do a mini me swap and put the head of the d16 and put on the d15 and buy a vtec controller I read that doing the mini me swap I'd get crazy compression and it would make great power all the way up to 8000 rpms because something with the 1.5 but idk I just wanted to get some opinions I'm pretty new to the site only my second post
