I finished doing my first head gaskets job. started at 2pm and ended at 8:30-9pm. is that bad? My friend said it took him two days with his. I'm left with not knowing what to say....:/:???:

single cam out of my car by myself in about an hour. No lift, no cherry picker.


We do transmission swaps in the race car in about 45 minutes and have done a engine swap in the race car in about an hour and a half.

Man it'll probably take me 2-4 days for me, I don't have the experience to do it or the tools.

Dropped it out of the bottom? I can imagine you doing that in some junkyard car though.

I replaced both axles within 30 minutes at the track once on someone elses car.

Took as long as we needed to get it done right ;)





... except I forgot to tighten the lug nuts on one wheel and it fell off. :oops:
