Which Generation

I am looking to get a civic to do some serious mods. "Boost and motor work " Of course motor would probably be switched out but I was wondering which shell would be best for me to start with(generation wise).

I currently have 2 civics
I made a mistake brought a 7th generation to find out from someone that they aren't B friendly or mod friendly period.

And my Daily is a 2000 Honda Civic both of them are coupes and 5 speeds.

Since you're doing motor work on the car, why not stick with it and switch it out for a K series power plant?

Please, only one thread per topic. I see you created one in 4, 5, and 6th gen sections. I deleted one and as the other two both had replies, merged them. I also moved this to off-topic since this question is not generation specific.

5th or 6th gen really doesn't matter if you're doing motor work, then it's whatever one you like best. Either will accommodate a B-series motor.
