you may have to open up the door panel and use a little super green to clean the tracks AND then use the silcone spray to lube them.

then use silcone spray. I use the spray once a year and haven't had any problems.

I dont think its the tracks. Thesound of the motor goes Wwweeeoooweeeeeooowweeeee.
I am thinking its a Circile on each side of the window pushing it up and the circile deformed into an egg shape.
Anyone have pics of what it looks like before i open my door?

If you really want to fit it, tear the whole thing apart and clean the s**t out of the regulator. All the old grease slows it down. Then relube it, then clean the tracks, lube the tracks and your set.

on the pic you see the almost vertical line behind the circle on the right side of the door where the speaker would go, thats the track. it continues up to the mirror and down to a bolt at the bottom of the door which you cant see in the pic. the other track is basically the other edge of the door (left side of door not pictured). its what holds the glass in place by the edges when it slides up and down in the door

now imagine fingering your g/f's cooch, thats what you need to do with the silicon spray, you need to get it in the cooch of the track

(yes it was very very hard to say that with a straight face)

i just relubed my windows yesterday and this is what i tried out: its called Primis Gel Lube and it specifically states that it can be used for sliding window tracks in its directions. so far its working great, my passenger side window is no longer lagging behind the driver side window when they go up. pics...

im sure it wouldnt hurt its just hard to get to. the door panel needs to be taken off. im thinking window lubing should have been a listed item on the maintenance schedule for civics

Should the rear windows go up and down as fast as the front ones or have they got a slower motor? Don't want to go through the hassle of removing the door panels to lubricate them for nothing!

silicon is spray is what we always used when I worked at Autoglass Specialists. Spray it down the tracks on both sides of the windows, it will lower the friction from the window going up and down.
I sprayed this on going on 2 months now.. Still no problem.. this stuff works
