i used to use these diamond audio components http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9733/tmpphpo6qf9x.jpg but i switched to these MB QUARTs http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/8829/tmpphplngxc9.jpg because the sound quality was so much better but maybe the hex series is on par with the quarts.

Funny, I used MB Quart's exclusivley for all my cars systems for about 13 straight years, just recently switched to try something new. MB's are getting cheesy looking in recent years, and they started sounding too bright and harsh to me. I'm happy with these Diamond Audio's.

thats because MB QUART was sold to MAXXSONICS a couple years ago they used to be hand made in germany but there made in the USA now and are complete garbage .they also own HIFONICS,CRUNCH, and AUTOTEK if it doesn't say made in germany then there not original mine are original MBs.

Hey NSZteg, where did you get those plastics where the tweeters are enclosed in, that go on the opposite side of each side mirror?

That's where the stock tweeter was, it's a stock piece.
