Will a DOHC ZC transmission bolt onto D15B8

Looking to replace my slipping cx transmission, and get some better gearing.

Do the transmissions from these motors bolt onto any D-series?

I had read that before but this is the odd D-series motor, being a DOHC. Can't imagine it would make much of a difference.

Would love some info.

yes it will its the same as any other d series trans

Yup its a very odd motor, but the tranny will bolt up just fine although you could probably find a different one for cheaper.

I have had absolutely no luck in finding an ex or si civic transmission. I am on like 4 or 5 different honda forums and I check craigslist daily.

how is it an odd motor?
its the old teggy motor. its pretty much comparable to the LS motor, which is what it is.

but, yes it will work. bolt up to your d motor, and work with your mounts.

yes the dual over head cam d series tranny will fit other d series engines. but nothing else will. me and my friends tried rebuilding a dvc zc engine and replacing the head with a single cam zc. not only do the heads not fit, but svc intakes dont fit. the dvc d series engines are very tricky
