Windshield wiper problems

Ok so I have a 97 Honda civic ex, and I've had this issue when I bought the car where the windshield wiper fluid doesn't come out but my Wipers work fine. I checked the fuses and their fine, I replaced the switch, still nothing. When I try to run the fluid with the switch I don't even hear a sound come from the motor. Should I replace the motor or do I have a wiring problem?

If you run power and ground wires directly from the battery to the motor, does it run?

Well I did figure out the problem with it and it was the pump itself. Got it working! Thank you for the help!
