no problem. the only pic i have seen recently was in the august issue of super street, on page 220. there is a green 5th gen hatch with no moldings, just the indent. its not a 6th gen, but its something to look at. that all i got :) good luck.

i have 2 sets of the moldings from the fenders. one set is vogue silver off my 96 fenders, and the other set is milano red, off a pair of si fenders from when i did my 99-00 conversion. both sets are fine; they just have some scratches. but either way it looks like you have to have them...

as long as the camshaft and crankshaft are set at TDC (for piston #1), the timing should be right on. if it is off and your running really shitty, or not running at all, you got a problem. but just make sure they are both set before you put the timing belt and other parts on.

good to hear your making progess...if you have a Dremel, or can borrow one, that might work for sanding down the plastic. you can get some pretty small bits and attachments for them. just a thought...
