my tint on my civic looks like crap. seems like previous owner just throw in cheap tint, when it's sunny, it's still hot on inside. i'm saving up to get them redone now.

btw, my dad used solar gard quantum on his inspire (not on this country), and it holds up pretty well. even after 3 years, still looks like day one, interior is cooler.

I got my Tacoma done for 90. That was including the entire windshield in 35.. The guy around here is really good. I'm thinking he should be able to do my civic for about the same. I'm getting the entire windshield tinted on it as well. Already bought a set of HIDs so no worries about night vision.

And no its not cheap dyed polyster film :kickass:

Whatever,

I'm absolutely certain you are not getting SolarGard Quantum or Llumar for $100.00

Probably some Gila or something maybe a bottom of the line 3M

Windshield?

Most states, anything below the AS1 line is a no go.

In Arlington, you have a choice. remove it on the spot with a single edge razor or get it impounded and remove it before you are allowed to leave the impound yard.

Then again, you are in Kentucky....Ohio's porn, headshop, gambling, and strip club connection  :bluelol:

Like said above...I highly doubt you are getting high quality tint for $100...as for the pics...when you first get it done it may look great...but over time you will notice a huge difference...

thats a good deal, but tinting windows is not very hard you could probably just do it yourself just have the patients.. but 100 is a very good deal for the tint and the job

I do all my own tint.

You start to get the hang for it after a couple tries.

very rarely do I see someone that does it themselves do a good job and/or get the right kind of tint thats not purple. Plus the cooling and heating thing with the correct chemical s**t they use would be a little hard

I did an okay job on my Suzuki years ago...

:???:did manage to get one of my dog's hairs stuck in between the film and the glass on the back window....that sucked and I was being so careful about doing it right.

It was just cheap Gila film. Color stayed pretty good but heat rejection was nil.

My girlfriend and I both have tinted windshields. LEO's really aren't hard on people with tint around here. Where there's no sun strip and it's only 35% it just looks dark. When you roll down a window you can kinda tell. Her tC looks really dark where the car is black. She put HIDs on her car so the vision is night and day difference now.
