well that's the only reason honda recommends 5w20 in the 7th gen for better gas mileage but with high miles its to thin so i use 5w30 synthetic its better for cold starts and wear protection.
Oh ok, we'll what do you think I should use? I drive a lot more in the summer bc of work 40miles a day 5 days a week...

So at FOT 5w30 is thicker than 5w20 right? How does that make sense when the lower number (5) is thicker when its cold, but according to you 30 is thicker than 20?
I'm not sure what you're asking.

Taken from link^^:
"Another way of looking at multi-vis oils is to think of a 20W-50 as a 20 weight oil that will not thin more than a 50 weight would when hot."

So higher number means thinner.:thumbs up

If your exhaust releases black smoke then you're probably burning oil..
Black is fuel. Blue is oil. White is coolant.

Do your oil change yourself. You will never know if they truly used Mobil 1 or not, even if you tell them to. Plus a lot of places tend to over tighten oil filters which are INSANE headaches to get off. And also there may be a chance the oil drain plug gets over tightened which may lead to leaks.
