LoL. Well, it's not the most exciting news, but with gas prices on the rise, I'm glad I drive a few efficient car.
Car has over 150,000 miles, oil changes and basic tune up done on schedule. Was taking it easy and lots of highway driving, I got 418 miles on 10.97 gallons of gas. I could've push it and got another 15-20 miles easily. It only equates to 38mph, true to the EPA claim of highway driving.
I do about 68-72mph on the highway. Speed doesn't matter too much unless you are going over 75mph or so. Even at 80mph I still average about 32-34mph. What really matters is hard acceleration and frequent changes in speed.
I've been keeping a tab on my mpg and it is usually around 34-36mpg. Would say it's about 1/3 city and 2/3 highway miles. Not a fast car, but gas efficient and reliable, go Honda!
