i was looking for some 17's or maybe even some 16's when my friend let me know that he was sellin 5 evo 5's with tires. I bought them off of him for 400.
18s look great, thats what my last set was. the tires are whats too big right now. hopefully by the time spring rolls around i'll have everything situated how i want it, slammed with a very mild stretch on the tires.

for comparison, my last set to my current ones

ace, f**k no.
sorry, no offense man, i just hate chrome wheels. i will never have a set of chrome wheels on my civic as long as i own it.

worked on my suspension setup today... heres what i got... i don't think i can go much lower. I had to take out my front fender liner... i need to roll my rear fenders hardcore now.
on the enkeis (they look so much better now imo)

haha they are made of polyurethane i believe. they are flexible so i don't think they'll rip off, i think they'll just bend and scrape.

i'm picky about my wheels. from now on i probably won't get anything other than 5 spokes unless they are te37s or xxr552s.
I really like these enkei rims, i might actually keep these a while, but we'll see.

thanks man, i love these fit wheels. Only other set of oem 15's i like more would be the ex wheels. :dunno:

okay, heres the height i'm at after the work.
This is almost exactly where i want to be. i'd like to be about 1/4 in lower in the front but i'm content with this. until i get all of my suspension figured out and finalized. I'm going to be looking into what all i need for my suspension setup here in the future and working on that this winter. come spring hopefully i'll be at the height i want to be at with the stance i want.

well they are on blown struts sooooo.... they ride like ass. I'm ordering my rokkor coils here soon, i'd suggest doing a coilover setup from the start, especially if you want to slam it.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. This wont be the last set of wheels either. I'll keep the fits but the enkei's are going. Too big for me anymore. I want to slam my car, and its just not feasible on 18's.
