its not untuned its called a basemap
well untuned would be running the stock ecu....
wrong, running a stock ecu is stock. Running untuned is having an aftermarket chip/basemap without a tune meaning a street or dyno tune in the car that the tune is for.

exactly, you're untuned. and yea Im the one who knows enough to not build a boosted car and beat the s**t out of it untuned, and blame it being so slow on low compression and not enough boost.sure and you know what your talking about right lmao!! ^^^

you said you had a basemap... thats no where near a tune. a tune is you making several passes on a dyno and a TUNER adjusting your fuel and timing curves. several means 5-50 passes. or....several pulls on a highway NOT RACING. along with a tuner in a passenger seat with a laptop adjusting your fuel and timing curves.
a basemap is to get you to the tuner...not for you to race around like an idiot until you get the money for a tuner.
like already said.... just because you have a built motor... doesnt make it bulletproof against a bad tune.it can be destroyed in a mere seconds
