thats cool glad your not just some arrogant clown who'd b***h about people not knowing whats going on only to not offer your help to them to help make things go a little easier for others. They should have a set time for those who have no clue as to whats going on just for them to get the feel with supervision of course. Maybe after the event?

I'd love to get into autoX. Don' get me wrong, Drags are cool, but autoX is a lot more exciting in my opinion. Im going to actually look into learning the ropes in SCCA at some of the local events here.

It's tough because after the event is usually fun runs for everybody and during the event is, well, it's the event.

Getting started with competitions is tough but not impossible, a lot of members will help you out with tips and ride alongs. Getting an experienced driver with a like car to ride with you and for you to ride with him is a huge help.

Don't limit yourself to SCCA, BMW groups are pretty prevalent and hold events as well.

$100 or so. This year it's being held at Devens in Mass.
