Well here we go, I'm going to cram about 7 weeks of work into one post. :wow: Enjoy!!

I'll start by thanking some of my friends thats helped me out with the project, Will, Parker and Laura at Hybrid Racing, Kyle my bud, EJ, my girl Hannah for letting me spend more time with the car than I do with her. Al @ PIC Performance for the coilovers, Matt @ ICB, and Dan @ Atlantic Salvage.

A little about this car,

I bought the car back in August 05, pre Hurricane Katrina. The car was pretty screwed up in the front, the previous owner had rear-ended a truck. So, I found it sitting in the front yard and drove it home with 130k miles for $1800.

Car is ALMOST ready to paint. The body line is..PERFECT!!!

I didnt know what the black roof was going to look like, but I think it will grow on me. The thin moldings are sick, I didnt know they were that thin either.

Please ignore all the trash and crap under my carport..I've had so much s**t around I finally cleaned everything up after I was finished..lol

Rims and coilovers installed.

The car is pretty low, too bad I cant ride that low otherwise I'd destroy my oil pan. Keep in mind there is no engine in the car either, so with the added weight in the front its going to be super slammed. I love the way it looks...

I started the install of the interior, door panels, rear panels, and started the install of the new carpet.

I had the paint guys paint the brace in the middle of the car.. it was like galvanized steel..they did a really nice job painting it.. I also ran the carpet under the brace so the carpet end is hidden, otherwise it clips to the top of the brace. I did it both ways and I think hiding it look wayy cleaner.

The glass should be in in a couple of days, the dashboard should be in tomorrow.

Thanks for looking!

Including the price of the car..I'd say its nearing $16k. I got hooked up on almost everything as well, the K swap alone is around $8k or so.

Great Job so far. I really like the color choice plus it goes very smoothly with the rims. BTW if you don't mind me asking, are you some type of engineer, mechanic, or something in that field? In for the results :thumbs up

Love it. You should def leave the interior bare... Im not digging the roof and eyelids though. And maybe should've shaved the engine bay...? Are you wire tucking...? Also what did you use to coat the bottom end/tranny?
