Muffler Questions

So my muffler just rusted off the end of my exhaust and I'm looking to replace it with a twin loop muffler, but I have a few questions.

First question is would the OBX twin loop even fit properly on my EJ1?

Then the inlet for the OBX twin loop is 2.5" while I believe the exhaust is 1.75" which leads to my next two questions:

Can I flip exhaust reducers around to make them "expanders"?

If I can, is it wise to weld two reducers together to make up the big difference?

just get the muffler, and take it to a shop and have them run some 2.5 all the way back. won't be that bad in cost, and it'll help with flow and give that twin loop the flow it needs to sound good instead of restricting the air all the way till it get's to the muffler

No point in spending the money on a fancy muffler if you're still running stock pipes.
