with the console, the bottom part of the ashtray goes on top of that little lip. not under it like you have it. the bottom of the ash tray needs to be right at that open gap you have.

I'm liking it. Im building the D15B1 not for the HP, but as a DD and a weekend toy. Hope to hear it running better next time, rod knock sucks. KEEP IT UP!

haha ya that knock came from the previous owner boosting a motor with almost 200k on it

i had a rod knock once

but then i rebuilt the motor with srp pistons and eagle rods

looks good so far, i like the black painted parts, usually hate it, but for some reason it looks cool on your setup. Looks like it will be a solid motor. And when I had the optional audio console i had that same fitment issue with mine. Don't know why.
