If my transmission comes back ok I have a sneaking suspicion that it could be my turbo going out...trying to read for a better replacement (by better I mean more reliable then eBay). I'm pretty much learning as I go on this. If any one has any brands I should look at or consider please feel free to post.

Right now I have a t3/t4 cx racing turbo (eBay) .48 ar. Walboro 195. Dsm 440s precision inter cooler blah blah blah
Power wise I want to stay around what I'm at now which is 230. I'm not sure how much my motor can take so I'm just trying to stay conservative.

I'm by no means a turbo expert. Learning as I go. I found some good reading material on the garret website ill read later tonight. Hopefully that'll put me in the right direction.

When I first saw the thread title, I thought it was an EG, with a K-Swap. Boy was I surprised.

Stabbing the transmission Monday. Ordering Hondata shortly after....tired of this chrome crap.

with forged internals, that motor could make a lot of power. the rods and pistons are the weakest link in the 2.2 sohc's.

with Hondata and a good tune they should be okay though.

I'll be reading into it in the coming months.

Transmission is back on. Replacing the ball joints tomorrow with moog while I'm still motivated.
