well good news guys the alt is charging now.It starts at around 12.6-12.7 then slowly climbes but only goes to about 13.0.when i drive it climbs up but when at idle its like 13.2 max.I believe thats from drained batts and my power wire from alt to bat needs to be changed to bigger wire its stock 10-8 guage

well alot of what I did was re did all grounds sanded em down and checked for cracks.Didnt pull anything out started it up and it worked. But why does it start at high 12s and take awhile to get to 14.It should be atleast 14.4-14.9.And as Im driving it sounds like I have a blower in the motor.and the belt is squeely alot of times not all but it does it very so often

you think thats what it is should i run a direct power wire from alt to batt but bigger like 1/ 0 guage instead of stock fused 80 amp
