Picked up an EG for a future K-Series Swap

Yeah, I'd have to agree that K Turbo is owning all right now in terms of power output. However, I'm not sure how usable it is since the tq is a lot higher as well.

usuable? maybe not, but im sure its a whole lot more fun

i wonder if you could just swap a base model 5-spd onto the k20. maybe it would have the same advantages as an ls tranny. long gears, and maybe u wont spin tires so bad considering your hatch is so much lighter than the car the motor was designed to be in. im not sure how to put into text what i have in my mind, i just think longer gears = less problem of spinning your tires when you floor it like it wont rev up so quick

Best trans for a boosted K20 is the base RSX with EP3/Type R Final Drive.

Update: Hoist is on the motor. Driver and passenger mounts are removed. Trans mount is all that's left. Should have the stock motor removed tomorrow and the engine bay cleaned and prepped.

i finally decided that i'm saving up for a k-series nwo that i've learned it is A/C-able in a 6gen civic

k-series > b-series > d-series

Um...you forgot a series in that equation

k > H > b > d

going to nopi in a week? ill have some friends there and maybe i could tell them to look out for a teal k20'd hatch. wish i could go but im turnin 1yr older so i have to stay home. maybe next month tho 8) cant wait till decemberish, maybe ill line me and my dads soon-to-be crx project (need to get rid of my hatch first ) up next to your hatch
