Picked up an EG for a future K-Series Swap

Just ordered a Civic EP3 Final Drive for my Base RSX Trans. Combo should be good for nice tall gears but in a 5 spd over a 6.

Just need to figure out the clutch and flywheel and then the trans part will be done (besides doing the work. ).

That's what I plan on doing once I get the motor where I want it to be. (That and funds aren't THAT abundant.)

I've been thinking about this one for a while. The stock cluster has no tach. I don't feel like getting another EG cluster so I can have one, so I was thinking about running ALL new gauges (ala Autometer) for my needs.

Not sure how that's going to pan out though... So much s**t to consider.

Here's what I'm thinking:

Tach
Speedo
Air/Fuel
EGT
Oil Pressure
Water Temp
Fuel Level (maybe)
and MAYBE volts. Don't know how important that last one is.

Good question. This has to be one of the fastest track car builds I've ever seen. I was hoping for a July/August debut at Moroso Motorsports Park In West Palm Beach, FL.

If I don't hear from my motor guy soon...who knows.

Been busy putting my EP back to stock. Once it's running again, I'll be back working on the EG.

man, you should really help me out and post a nice how-to on eg dash removal, its all i have left and i just cant get it.....

There are a few bolts on the sides, 1 in the middle top (Remove the vent to see it) and a one or 2 underneath (as well as all of the wire harnesses.

I did it by just tugging and looking for the resistance.

Because I need a truck to tow the EG to the track. That, and the funds from the EP are helping to build the EG.

I don't need to race to work anymore, just at the track.
