I beat a civic just like mine except had an automatic and mine is a manual. I could hear his car shift into 2nd and 3rd, while I was harvesting top end power hahaha. Nothing impressive.

Jesus its sad how week the D17 engine is. But drop a K20 into the engine bay of a 7th gen and then we will see....Buahahha. Anyway only thing i ever beat in my DX was a mmm....... Almost beat a probe GT. But he beat me cause his safety kicked in a little later then mine. lol.

But now since somone wrecked into my Honda i got an SRT-4 and people loose to it thinking its a Dodge Neon. I like to rep the 7th gen community. Cause i have a 7th gen; they look beautiful. Please dont sh*t on my post.

In my '02 Civic, I've only raced one car. I raced my friend in his 80-something Civic hatchback 4-speed. I think we were laughing the whole way as he launched off the line with his (I'm told is stock) LSD and I babied it off the line and rolled into the throttle and ran past him. My Civic is weak, his was even weaker. D17 = teh SLOW!!

In my '95 Taurus I've spanked lots of cars and only slightly lost to two of them by a fender or so... I've beaten two other Taurus', C5 ZO6, Ferrari 360 Modena, some ricers, WS-6, and a few others. My losses include a supercharged E46 M3 and a '06 supercharged Rousch Mustang. Both loses were by about a half car length.

I don't use the Civic for anything other than comfortable daily driving....
