i actually really like them especially the last one of the poker chips
A slight bit of miscommunication here, I do use a light box(if you really wanna call it that) and what I use for a backdrop is 2 pieces of paper.i was just giving you some tips. just simple changes and itll make it look alot better! from what absolut said he doesnt use a light box, he just had 2 pieces of paper.
I think these are awesome for your first try, given your lighting they look realllly good, great job man.lighting was hard to get cause all i was using was the light coming from the ceiling. hopefully i will be getting a dslr soon(d40)
sry for the big pics
(this is the first time i had ever tried this, tell me what u think.)
If he had a DSLR he would be fine, simple change of the white balance setting would do the job. My pics are always a slight bit orange/pink before they hit my computer, a temperature change usually does the trick though.ah, that sucks. if it wasnt for your lighting being incandescent i think ud be fine with the whitebalance too
ah crap i didnt know i posted this.. haha it was the only product picture i had and i notice it wasn't in this thread.I remember that shot from a while back. Wish I had a gun like that to shoot .
Yea, but you can use what ever you want. I'm pretty sure what i had was some sort of poster bored. Its so cheap you can get a few different things and just try it out.strobist use posterboard, its shiny (for reflections) and you can get a black one too for a different color.
