stickies

I was thinking something like "Stickies.... Important info, please read, and since they'd be pulled from an archive, they would cross reference eachother.... That way more get read instead of less.

How about turning those "stickies" to a writeup. Some one just take the time and dedication, organize it a bit, take out whoring posts, and use the useful ones.

I really like the article sections that www.team-integra.net has, it's useful and very infomative. We can change all the stickies on this site into something like that. Make it pages of information and not just a long thread.

Then we can guide newbs right to the sorted article section, instead of threads with bunches of stickies, that is annoying to go through. Post threads are too long and tedious to just find some quick information that you need.

Alright, I add a sub-forum in the lounge for the stickies. If all goes well I'll do it to the technical forums as well.

how about having a dedicated sticky thread for each forum that links to pertinent threads?

can we get the thread rating system working justin?? and let's have ppl vote on threads ONLY if they think it's very useful/helpful informatoin. then we'll have a sticky that links to those threads

yea just make one sticky in each forum titled stickes
then you go into it and you see all the links and what they pertain too

Ill work on more as the day goes on, if you could unsticky them some i didnt add because i felt they were old or didnt hav eall the info and tried to add some more

I agree with having it's own forum for the stickies...

And while you're at it, make it so noobs have to read through it and then take a quiz, and if they pass they can start posting, hahaha.
