Sudden loss of gas mileage...What could be the cause?

my car has been getting pretty bad gas mileage this last week, but i kinda riced it a lil, so it makes sense and its been freezing but im just going to roll over 250 for a tank : S btw does vtec burn more fuel i have heard mixed answers on that, not trying to be a thread jack just wondering if that could be a problem...

Confirmed no fuel leak and brakes not dragging.

Just a thought...If someone wanted to "sabotage" the car...like an oil change place that was pissed off at me...What could they've done to cause a sudden loss of gas mileage that is not showing up anywhere else?

alot of states add ethonol to the gas for emisson perposes in the winter and this will cause to lower your gass milage. check with your gass station and see if it is state or county mandated and what %. try premium instead of plus or regular and see...or a fuel addative, it better for the car anyway so cant do harm
