As far as 80s, I know A LOT of 80s songs, just can't recall artist....

My earliest recollection of hip hop was 3rd-grade playground, listening to some 5th grade boy sing LL's "Goin Back to Cali" and A LOT of Beastie Boys, but other than that, everything was early-90s....
All of my old skool hip hop (Public Enemy, "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back",oldest album I own), I didn't actually buy DURING the 80s, but was a result of me "doing my homework" and knowin the "Forefathers-of-Hip-Hop" becoz Hip Hop elitists are not too fond of newjacks.

does the jackson 5 count as 80s?...well theyre song, Life of the party, is a great song to Breakdance to...not much of power but mostly style and foot work
