Why? Metal Gear Solid maybe if you like that game enough to spend the 400 on it. Most PS games are also on 360 with no graphic difference.
final fantasy. woot. dualshock 3. woot. free online gaming. woot. aaaannndd it's faster in some cases. woot woot.
so i'm not uber excited about GTAIV.. but... i will want to play it, eventually.
My wife just bought me a PS3 2 weeks ago. I had one at release but sold it.
It's nice. There are a few reasons why we decided to get it:
- Blu-ray: Now that HD-DVD is going to be taking a long nap, I want to be able to keep renting/getting HD movies.
- Exclusives: I already rented and beat Uncharted ( which was really good by the way...you feel like you're in a movie ) but there's also MGS ( got the beta, can start playing online on the 21st!!!!11 ) GT5, Kill Zone 2, Little Big Planet, etc.
- Dual Shock 3: I miss the PS3 controllers. The new DS3 is great. I always prefered the controllers vs. the xbox goliath controllers.
- Free Internet: I can hop into multiplayer with no fees and I can even browse the internet from my TV now.
Now, reasons why I hate the PS3:
- SLOW loading time. I Dl'd a demo and it literally took an hour if not more. I put my 360 on played games while it was DL'ing it...then I had to install it?! Crazy I tell you.
- Small game selection ( for now ) and everyone else has the 360
To be honest, I am 100% sure that the 360 will get way more play when compared to the ps3, but I think it's worth it.
P.S. - Tuesday night we should hop online and just cruise bro. You can free roam in multiplayer!!!! It's gonna be so sick. We definitely gotta get online at the same time. But I'm gonna explire like crazy before I hop online.

for the price of a ps3 you can get a xbox 360 and a game or two and a 13 month card
But no hd movie capability.
