Ok so found out I'm having a leak from water pump but my question is would i get a water pump for a 1993 civic or a d16y7 because that's the head that's in the car? And the bottom says d15b.

I think the head gasket and more than likely the head itself needs to be repaired but when I bought the car 3 years ago they told me the engine was from a different year,just didn't remember. So now my car is doing the opposite as it was before. Before it would accelerate while my foot was on the gas pedal. Now,it accelerates while I'm pressing on the gas pedal but if I try to go a steady speed it just keeps on slowing down and losing rpms. Any help or info on where to look? Thank you

Just got my civic running (it's a 1993 ex coupe with a 96 engine) and it accelerates when I'm releasing the gas pedal and once I hit 5th I don't feel any pressure on the pedal and the rpms and speed start to decrease. Wondering what might be wrong this time. Lol I can have the pedal all the way...

Ok so I've had this car sitting there for about 8 months. Before that I had replaced the fuel pump,fuel filter,battery,alternator,distributor,spark plugs,and main relay. It ran for a while but out of no where the fuel pump stopped priming. It would just prime when it wanted. Wondering what year...

Fuel pump primes when it wants. New pump,filter,battery,main relay. Clueless to what it could be. Any help in right direction??
