    I actually already did that bearing attached to the tranny case, I didn't do the one that was at the top of the main shaft...think that one is the one making noise?

    Well the way you know its a bearing in the tranny or the throw out bearing is if you push the clutch in and the noise goes away, its the bearings inside the tranny. If there is no noise to start, you push the clutch in and it starts making noise, that is the throwout bearing...mine makes noise...

    Hey fellas! Have a D16 tranny and have the typical noise when the clutch is out, but when clutch pressed in the noise goes away. So i swapped out the input shaft bearing and tossed it back in the car. Still getting the damn noise though. What bearing could still be making noise? Trying to limit...

    Whats up fellas! I do mechanic work at my house as a hobby and have changed many 92-95 and 96-00 civic head gaskets, they are pretty easy. I have an 01 civic EX and it seems to be a bit different. With the EK's i can just loosen the bolt on the tensioner, pull up on the timing belt and slip...

    ive done that method on 96+ civics before, just have no idea why this OBD port is different...hence why i posted this thread lol pretty bizarre i tell ya!

    say what? im guessing you have never seen this thread http://www.civicforums.com/forums/111-electronics/319672-diy-srs-codes-reading-them.html and the yellow connecter with 2 wires is to reset it and as i said before i have already tried that many times...thanks for you help though!
