Not necessarily. It depends on the severity and car value. That is unless theres a state with different regulations that Im not aware of.


In canada especially the province iam from 95% of cars containing frame damage are instant write off's cause there deemed not road worthy :yummy:

Lick your Candian lips all you want. Keep in mind you're posting in a predominantly US forum. Writng off a car over maybe $2000 in frame repair when the car may be worth 3-5 times that is just nonsense. These are examples of course. Keep OP locations in mind when suggesting such things.
