Hi guys,

Here is the deal i am getting a d15b7 for $200 and i am wanting to put just the b7 block into my car and reuse the head from my d15b2 ( rebuilt 3k miles ago).
I know that the b7 is obd1 engine and that the car is an obd0 car.
I want to convert the b7 block over to obd0 as i don't have the money to buy the ecu and conversion harness to make the car obd1.
My question is what do i have to do to the b7 block, if anything, to make it work with obd0?
I have tried searching but everyone was talking about making the car an obd1 car.

thanks for the help,

Travis

I think the only thing you need to do is extend the coolant temp sensor wires a little, and use your old LX manifold to keep it odb0. I had a B7 block with a shaved Si head converted to multiport injection in my 90 hatch and it ran very good.

Cool thanks for the info.
Right now i am kind of torn between switching the engine to OBD0 or switching the car to OBD1.
Too many choices with this car -_-
