d17 into 5th/6thgen hatch?

i have an 01 ex coupe auto. when i swap i would like to put the d17 into a 5th or 6th gen hatch and have it as my daily driver bc the engine has very low miles. and i can get a hatch with no engine. has anyone heard of a d17 goin into either of these? does anyone make mounts for this or would it have to be custom?

would it even work with little problems? thanks

hmm... I think this would be intresting to see. Not sure if it would just mount up, you would prob need custom mounts, but if you did it, I would love to see it.

yeah i no....the thing is i have a d17 with 20xxx miles on it, and can get a shell for under 800. so y spend more on a hatch with a 154xxx mile engine? im not doin it for an exciting swap, this will be my beater.
