help: diy ek9 lights 5th gen

hi guys, basically i've gotten to the point of removing the glass from the headlight units on both of them

however i'm now at the point where i'm stuck, how do i remove the silver piece which you paint from the backing unit of the light??

i'm ok with re-sealing it etc etc as i've done it to my last ek civic and my em1 coupe so i'm just a bit puzzled as to how you remove the silver chrome piece from the headlight to paint it

also any pics of eg6's with these done etc would help

uhmm not sure if your talking about 96-00 lights or 92-95 lights but i know that for the 96-00 lights there are a few little gold screws holding it in place..after those are taken out, it takes a little bit of pull to take it out..dont pull too hard though or you'll break it

no i've said in my post i've allready done 2 ek headlights lol so i know what i'm doing when it comes to them,

i've got 5th gen (hence the title) so it's 92-95 lol!!
