How do I display ECU codes on a 5th gen (1993) civic?

My girlfriends car is getting so it won;t start when hot and the main relay shows no visible signs of cracked solder joints. So I wanted to see if there are any codes tripped on it, but can't figure out how to do that on a 5th gen.
