no oil light 1994 civic lx

my 1994 honda civic lx oil light does not comes on when the engine is switch on any more. I check the bulb in the in the cluster and it is ok, what do you think could be the problem, I would like to have it working incase its giving me a warning.

The switch may be bad or disconnected.
