Official DIY image hosting

just a suggestion.... in order to make sure the official DIYs can be archives for posterity, i believe the images should be hosted exclusively on the CC server (via attachments, perhaps?), so that they do not automagically disappear should an image host go under or decide to remove them for whatever reason. while i do understand this means extra disk space, bandwidth, and strain on the CC web server(s), it would definitely help keep everything here in one place without the potential volatility of 3rd party hosting.

i haven't checked lately, but is there an attachment limit per user or is it unlimited now?

Anf, that is what the plan is. Mods are reviewing all DIY's that are submitted to become an Official DIY. Once the staff reviews and accepts the DIY, the pics are then uploaded as attachments to the site. If you see one that is not, please let one of us know.

As for the attachment limit, not sure on that one.
