Contest Theme - Inspiration

Rules

• Your photograph must follow the theme in some way.
• The image can be altered in Photoshop, but keep it minimal as possible.
• If applicable, you must have both the original and altered version of the photo you wish to submit.
• Only ONE photo can be submitted.
• If you decide to change your registered photo, do so at least 24-48 hours in advance from the end of the registration due date.

Picture Editing Regulations

• Adjusting levels is okay. Brightness, contrast, color, etc.
• No chopping in/out objects. Keep the picture original.
• Cropping is allowed.
• No watermarks or borders

Please do not post up your picture!
I will delete the post and you will be disqualified!!!!





How to ENTER your photo
All entree's must be hosted by ImageShack.us

All entry's must be sent to JohnS. via PM. Images must be re-sized to a maximum of 900 pixels wide and 750 pixels high.

Title your message, "Photography Contest Entry" and provide the following:

• Original unaltered photo
• (If applicable) Altered photo

Yes, you MUST submit the original unaltered photo along with the edited version if you have an edited version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!




Please use either of the following links when submitting your photo.

Please do not identify your photo or any other photo. They should stay strictly anonymous until the winner is revealed.


Voting will start shortly after entree applications are no longer being received and will end 14 days later.


You are allowed to vote for your own picture but no form of cheating will be tolerated. This basically means do not PM people asking them to vote for you or ask people to sign up on the board to vote for you. If any sort of cheating seems to be taking place, it will be investigated and may end up disqualifying you from the contest!!!!!!!

Pretty much. While it is a contest to see which picture everyone thinks is the best, it's also not a contest in a sense that you're just showing others what inspires you in life. Either way you see it, it works out in the end .

this is an extremely broad theme lol. my motorcycle inspires me. i can just upload a pic of that? lol

It's not broad. The subject is you. Each one of you. No one can tell us what inspires you except you. You have to show us. Unless you're inspired by literally dozens of things, even then it's not broad. I know there are only a few things in life that truly inspire me.

This theme is way more creative than the simple or usual "colors", "shapes", "landscape", etc. themes.

I'm extending registration for another week so it'll end May 17th. Or until I get at least 2 photo's. But it will definitely be another week at the very least til I call off registration.
