Rear trans mount removal on 4th gen Si?

Howdy y'all.

I went to swap out the rear trans mount (on subframe against firewall) on my '90 Si with ZC and it's impossible to get at the back bolt on the mount.

I have the Honda factory manual for the 90 Civic and it never shows how to pull that mount.

Do I need to drop the subframe? Hire elves to reach up and undo the bolt?

Anyone figured this out?

Thanks,

it takes alot of trying diff ways to get to it but you can get to it...try swivel sockets and a couple extensions

You need a 17 mm gear wrench with a swivle end go underneath the car and from the rear of the subframe there is just enough room to get the wrench on the bolt ratchet away till lose then go up top and with two finger screw the rest out. Thou to put a zc in you dont have to change any of the mounts at all. O.O
