stock '02 dx, will 225/60/15 fit?

I want wide 15" tire , using stock 6" steel rim, car is stock height, wondering if 225 will rub, if I only need to hammer fender lip to fit, no big deal, how wide has anyone gone on stock 7 gen civic? I'm new to tuners, I came from rear wheel 80's cars that had huge room for big tires. any help apreciated, thanks

Well my car ( 02' DX sedan) is running 195/50r15's and I have issues with smacking my tire of the bottom of the spring seat.... The only thing I can recomend is to roll the fenders, and run a slight wheel spacer, and even then she might still scrape...
