Hi Everyone
just like to know if any 2000 Civic DX 3-door Hatchback owners/ex-owners know what's the wheel offset on our ride?

am looking into changing rims. I know the slugs are 4x100 pattern and am going for 205/40/17 tires and 17" rims. Hence i'm looking for everyone's experience when moving from 14" to 17" ... what would be the optimum wheel offset without causing any chasis/fender rubs.

running lower profile tires and rims... will need higher air pressure yea... any advice as to how many PSI? with 205/40/17 tires/rim set up?

mistake #1 - not posting in the wheel/ suspension section

mistake #2 - causing my thread to be second on the list =P

neway dont put 17s on a civic, they will rub regardless of the offset, trust me ive done it. civics looks best with 15in wheels....16 the biggest. plus if u wanna save $ look how much it cost to replace a low profile 17in tire and then look at the price to replace a 15 or 16in..
