Will the 96-98 SIR front lip fit my 2000 SI?

The 2000 black SI I bought a week ago is missing the front lip. A new OEM lip from the online parts place is only $225 but by the time I add in all the bolts, clips, S&H, etc it's almost $330.

I see OEM lips from another company that are much cheaper and appear to include the mounting hardware. This is the link but it's described as fitting "Honda 96-98 Civic EK SiR Front Lip OEM". Will this lip fit my stock US 2000 SI?

Just buy speed clips and self tapping screws form your local auto parts store.

Yeah you can piece together your own hardware. Also try finding used lips.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll go with the OEM lip and generic mounting hardware. It looks like there's one specific bracket I might need but the rest of the stuff is nuts & bolts.

all i did for my lip was throw on some double sided tape and 3 screws each side (2 in the wheel well, one on the bottom at the corner of the bumper) holds great now
