Yea, PS3s don't fail often, but it's usually a b***h when they do.

On the contrary, Xbox 360s fail all the time, and it's usually a quick fix if the person knows what they're doing.

Wii... I have yet to hear of a wii failure.

i've had my PS3 break twice.. first time it lost all power (think it got fried in a storm)
Paid $150 to have it sent to Sony.. they shipped me a new system

Second time the disc drive stopped reading,
Paid $150 to send it to Sony where they replaced the drive.

Thus far no problems... knock on wood.

Yeah I was pissed shelling out that money twice.. but I'm a die-hard PS3 fan!

i sent it to sony it they fixed it. then it died again.
ended up buying another one, and that one died too.
then went and bought the slim one, that one died too.

crazy. but i was determine to play ps2.

Jebus man! What the hell were you doing to those poor PS2s? I was running an original one (not the slim or PSX) and gave it to my dad when I picked up my PS3s. He still plays it from time to time and there are STILL no problems with it. That thing has to be 8 years old by now? I didn't get it at launch in 2000, I think I picked it up in '02.

I went through 3 PS2s. It was a piece of s**t system as far as craftsmanship was concerned. Every time, it was either the dvd reader or the port that the ethernet plug in.. plugged in to.
