i like the idea of the no cat. i have a 2000 dx hatch and i dont have the cat and i took pipe and welded a muffler from ebay (n1 knock off) sounds great and i passed emissions. and if a cop comes to look under the hood pop it and let him open it up and when he is looking get out and honk the horn accidently to scare the s**t out of him.

Yeah same for me. He popped the hood and came to me and whispered. I can make it pass but it will cost a little more. HAHAHA.

So i guess when i start boosting i'll come back to that guy .

i have a y7, i just got some dc headers, test pipe, and a full cat back off a 2000 si. i have no problems.
