I'm still debating. Maybe t25 around 10 psi or so? But I might just rebuild the one I already have and run a little bit lower boost since it's a bigger turbo. what do you think? What kind of turbo do you have in mind if you're getting a new one?
Are you planning on running low boost?
ThanksGood work so far man!!!
I think you should get a T25. I don't think rebuilding an eBay turbo is that good since eBay turbos tend to go out on your easily, or so I've heard. That would be the point of rebuilding the ebay turbo. couldn't I use like a garrett t3/t4 rebuild kit?I think you should get a T25. Plus, if you rebuild that eBay turbo and since it's bigger, it won't kick in as fast as opposed to a T25.
Hmm...good point, I didn't think of that. I'm not sure if you can use a Garrett rebuild kit though. That would be the point of rebuilding the ebay turbo. couldn't I use like a garrett t3/t4 rebuild kit?
I was thinking of running lower boost on the little bit bigger turbo since it will be my dd. that way it's easier to stay out of boost during normal driving since it will take longer to reach boost
yea I've done research and still can't figure it outHmm...good point, I didn't think of that. I'm not sure if you can use a Garrett rebuild kit though.
add an AEM adj. fuel pressure regulator to that list... trust me.Current list:
t3/t4 turbo(getting rebuilt)
manifold
intercooler
wastegate(getting different one)
bov
some piping(will need more)
dumptube
ACT stage 1 clutch(might change to a 4 puck)
RC 550cc injectors
a/f, oil pressure, and boost gauges
Still need:
walbro 255 fuel pump
some piping
oil line kit
maybe some head studs
maybe new oil pump
